Looking back on Year 1 here at Nueva Studios, it's been one of highs, lows and exceptional music, but most of all we were lucky enough to share the stage with and represent some of the best the industry has to offer from all over the world including Argentina, Finland, Australia, Russia, Netherlands, UK, Poland, USA, Switzerland, Spain and of course our home base: Canada!Going back a few months we start off the compilation with one of our most successful releases featured on Marcus Schossow's Tone Diary, a remix from the talents of Eelke Kleijn as he makes musical genius out of Ilya Malyuev's Art Nouveau. Next up Fusion F & Come T's beautiful Begin Now was touched on by one of Nueva's favourite progressive talents Stan Kolev in his signature bouncy prog.Arguably one of Nueva's biggest signings to date we harnessed the progressive machine that is 16 Bit Lolitas as they produced a master piece of a remix on Beat Factory's B018!Making it onto the top 10 we venture to the UK and sought out Gutterstylz as he brings in a great prog-tech remix of PM Attitudes 'Samana'. Vocal tracks can be tricky but Canadian Glenn Morrison churns out one of Nueva's most memorable remixes to date evoking a fun sun laden vibe that has major cross over appeal. One of Netherlands most formidable progressive duos Fine Taste turned in a fantastic big room remix of Darin Epsilon's 'Samaritan Life'.This wouldn't be a top 10 compilation without mentioning this remix done by none other than Chris Reece on Noel Sanger's 'Zero Discipline' also featured by Matt Darey on In The Mix recently. The remix is such a proficient floor shaker and we hope you share our same sentiment.Early on in the year we released a sleeper of a hit by the name of 'Electron' from Swedish duo Bastards of Funk & Sonic Union, this was given to Cid Inc to do his..well..Cid Inc thing, and boy did here give us a floor destroying remix.Speaking of destroying floors, this man has been doing that for a long time and we know quality when we say Thomas Penton made mince meat out of Yan Lhert & Anthony Rosses deep tech 'Just Passing Through'!Last, but not least, is one of our favourite crossover progressive tracks with a tinge of trancy-ness thrown in by yet another uber talented Canadian artist Alucard in his original 'Dancing Under The Stars'.
