Day One Madrid calienta ya motores para su esperada segunda edición. El día 1 de enero el Palacio de Vistalegre de Madrid reunirá a los pesos pesados de la electrónica internacional, en una nueva entrega de un evento que rompió moldes en 2010, con un total de 15.000 asistentes que apoyaron esta nueva propuesta.

En esta nueva edición, el recinto del Palacio de Vistalegre presentará un espacio completamente renovado, en el que se instalarán nuevos accesos además de introducir mejoras en la producción, para mejorar la experiencia de los asistentes en un día tan señalado como el primer día del año. Una jornada en la que volveremos a apostar por un sonido de lujo que acompañará una puesta en escena cuidada al detalle.

El equipo de Day One ha continuado trabajando en el Festival durante todo el año, para lo que comienza ya la temporada de otoño avanzando un pequeño aperitivo de los nombres que irán formando el cartel final de actuaciones para la jornada del 1 de enero. Hemos empezado de nuevo anunciando en primicia esta nueva entrega hoy, jueves 8 de septiembre, durante la emisión “Bee Live”uno de uno de los programas de referencia de nuestro medio oficial, Loca Fm. En los próximos meses iremos adelantando las novedades que convertirán Madrid una vez más, en capital de la electrónica.

Loco Dice & Marco Carola B2B será el primer tándem de confirmaciones para Day One. Una de las actuaciones que más expectación tuvo en nuestra primera edición y que esta vez tendrá unaduración especial de cuatro horas. Un set especialmente preparado para nosotros que unirá de nuevo el techno del italiano con la maestría de la cabeza visible de Desolat.

Vitalic presentará en Day One un set diferente al que el Pascal Arbez nos tiene acostumbrados. Un proyecto nuevo que se aleja del directo y pasa a un set de dj bajo el título de Selector Set, y que nos brindará una faceta hasta ahora desconocida de este artista de origen francés, por mucho que él se autodenomine nacido en Ucrania y residente en Berlín.

El madrileño Óscar Mulero repetirá actuación en Day One. En pleno estado de salud tras la reciente edición de “Grey fades to Green”, Óscar volverá con sus contundentes sonidos a ser uno de los artistas que acapare mayor atención el próximo 1 de enero de 2012. Uner, uno de los nuevos valores del circuito nacional, que ya estuvo en 2010 en Day One, también pasará el primer día del año por el Palacio de Vistalegre.

El portal estadounidense TMZ, bien conocido por su picardía a la hora de introducirse en las vidas de los famosos y revolver en ellas, anunció recientemente que la multifacética Paris Hilton se encuentra camino de iniciar su carrera como dj.

La diseñadora, modelo, actriz, cantante y autora ha comenzado a frecuentar el ambiente clubber de mano de figuras del circuito como Afrojack, Deadmau5 y David Guetta. Su iniciación en tales menesteres, en conjunción con cierta ligereza de su parte, la movió a declarar que, habida cuenta de que “ninguna mujer ha asumido el control en el terreno”, aspira a convertirse en “la más poderosa dj femenina de música House de todos los tiempos”, y tras ello en “la reina de la música House”.

Port Washington, N.Y.--The votes have all been counted and it's official--DJ Times magazine and Pioneer DJ are proud to announce that Kaskade has been voted America's Best DJ for 2011.

The talented Los Angeles-based jock will be honored October 9 in Las Vegas for the ABDJ Closing Party, which will include a press reception at Marquee. After being presented with his trophy--a special Gold-Plated Pioneer mixer--Kaskade will take to the decks for the wildest Sunday night party in Vegas.

"I am really proud to be named America’s Best DJ. When I look at the Top 100 list, there are so many talented people on there, people that I have looked up to for years.
