There are loads but Beatman & Ludmilla are certainly up there. Their remix of my single ‘Tokyo’ was massive. They are two of the most talented breaks producers in the world who make this Punk Breaks kind of sound. We're really lucky to have signed them to Perfecto - you'll hear a lot more from them in 2012

Tunes of 2011 James Talk & Ridney feat. Max C – One For Me
I'm sorry to go straight for one of our own, but it’s fair to say this has been a staple part of my DJ sets all year. Along with the big-room Jay Wilder remix, this has rocked my dancefloors all summer from Ibiza to The Box at Ministry of Sound! BIG!
Deetron – Starblazer
I guess simplicity is the key to a great record, and they don't come much better than this. I'm sure I've heard it pretty much everywhere since the end of May, and those piano stabs never fail to put a big smile on my face. Coupled with a brilliant vocal stab, a true testament to a brilliant record is when it still gets full support from all the major DJs six months after release!
MK – Burning (James Talk & Ridney Remix)
A classic record from a true house master, which was a real honour to remix. Those classic house sounds never go away and this record has proved the heads know what they want when it comes to dancefloor bombs. A huge tune in all its various guises over the past months
Riley & Durrant
Radio 1 watch out, the boys are a coming!
Tune of the year
From the Capital FM radio shows it's probably Nero – ‘Promises’ (Skrillex & Nero Remix) or London Elektricty – ‘Meteorites’ and for our Riley & Durrant DJ sets, the K Klass bootleg of Chase & Status ‘Blind Faith’ has always been a peak time set highlight with the whole crowd singing along
Gig of the year
We've had some brilliant gigs this year from the Terrace at Space Ibiza to a sold out Ministry of Sound main room, but one of the most exciting for us was headlining the dance stage at Redfest - a small up-and-coming summer festival in Surrey which has grown from a humble beginnings a few years back into having thousands of people, a stack of big artists and an amazing atmosphere
Artist of the year
We're going to have to choose 3 again…it's impossible to narrow it down…
Dirty Secretz - an incredible house producer from Leicester who has been signed to Roger Sanchez’s label and making some of the best stuff around at the moment
LKid - a young guy from our home town of Leeds who's big belly-wobbling basslines and old skool production techniques have made some proper party rockers in 2011
Camo & Krooked - two drum n’ bass producers from Austria who released their debut album this year and been big favourites on the radio shows with their mind blowing tracks on Hospital Records
Villain of the year
Agents and managers who are charging astronomical fees for their artists and DJs to play in Britain.. We all know that big A Listers get much more money abroad where big events are sponsored by tobacco and alcohol brands, but this just doesn't happen in the UK. Smaller venues and events can no longer afford the big names as it's impossible to make the numbers stack up. Surely there's a lot of the top end of DJs who would love to play a more intimate 500-600 capacity party with an electric atmosphere - unfortunately unless they're prepared to drop the fees for British gigs we'll soon be seeing our scene shrink
New Years Resolution
MUST. MAKE. MORE. MUSIC
Proudest moment of 2011
Launching Andi's radio show nationally across the UK on the new Capital FM Network in January. Since the start of the new Friday and Saturday night programs we've had everyone form Example, Calvin Harris, Pendulum and Paul Van Dyk to Richie Hawtin and Claude Von Stroke as guests and seen the listening figures grow and grow until we're now head to head with Radio One to take the UKs most listened to electronic music show. Which is nice
