The people have spoken. After more than 70,000 votes from all over the country, you have voted in a new breed of DJs, Festivals, Club nights and more for the inthemix awards for 2011. Who has come up trumps and beaten out all the other competition?
And the result for Australia’s best DJ is fiery duo The Stafford Brothers.
They came in fourth last year, but this year clinched the top spot. They’ve recently found fame in Oz with their FOX8 reality show following them around on tours and DJ dates. The Brisbane based brothers were one of the main stage headliners at Australian festival Future Music Festival with Chemical Brothers and Ke$ha before their own 35 date world tour which saw them play across the globe.
