5 Predictions of the most played tracks at Ultra music festival 2014

1. W&W – Bigfoot
Mainstage giants W&W hit big with their track Bigfoot. Together with a cool cartoon music video and support all over the world it’s one of my UMF favourites. Hardwell previewed a mashup of Bigfoot and rapper The Game’s – How We Do, which Hardwell will be likely to play at UMF.

2. The Chainsmokers – #selfie
This song is a pretty similar track to Internet Friends which smashed Ultra last year, the drop is insane and will make crowd go nuts. The lyrics of the song are pretty controversial and funny and it could end up being pretty funny/embarrassing moment for some people that can recognize themselves in the lyrics. And after all we just had the most famous selfie taken at the Oscars, so we can really see djs playing this track and taking a selfie with the crowd.

3. Martin Garrix & Firebeatz – Helicopter
You can say what you want about Martin Garrix new collaboration with Firebeatz but you can’t doubt that this one is going to be big during the WMC and Ultra. The simple and cathy drop is everything a festival smasher needs, while Artists like Tchami will get their spotlight during the pool and Club Parties, Helicopter will be dominating at the big Ultra Stages and the Bigroom Showcases of different labels. The previous support and its Beatport top position vaults Martin Garrix newest gem into the hands of many DJ’s. This is why I’ve choose Martin Garrix & Firebeatz – Helicopter as my Ones to Watch during WMC

4. Hardwell & Matthew Koma – Dare You
This is my pick for most played track at WMC/Ultra, I think this track is gonna be played a lot. First of all because it’s a Hardwell production and second because of the combination Vocal/melodie/DROP. in the past couple of years Hardwell blew the party crowd away with his festival bangers How we do, Apollo, Spaceman and don’t forget Never say goodbye. And this time Hardwell returns alongside songsmith Matthew Koma once again!

5. Galantis – Smile (Kaskade Edit)
Galantis is a side project conjured by Miike Snow cofounder and Bloodshy & Avant member Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklow aka Style Of Eye, together the duo’s first release was “Smile” which is about unconditional love and support, being supportive to the one you love during hard times.
The track to date has received remixes from people including Danny Howard, Marco V, East and Young and Lars Aar, however, I believe that the Ryan Raddon aka Kaskade Edit, the guy who was voted America’s Best DJ in 2013 will be a popular track at Ultra Music Festival 2014 because his edit has a good pace, gradually building up with energy, an upbeat melody, an electro-charged bassline all whilst the acapella is hypnotic and captivating the crowd, it’s a song that will be stuck in your head for days, making me believe it will be a top candidate for one of the most played tracks at UMF!
