\"BelgradeHouseMafia.com\"
It was really great pleasure to keep an eye on world’s EDM scene in 2012 with all that amazing new tracks & producers! We hope that 2013 will be even better! Let’s start!

Belgrade House Mafia – The Best Of 2012

Track of 2012: Swedish House Mafia – Greyhound (Original Mix) [EMI]
For sure it’s one of the biggest track of the year. It has all elements of what todays festival-monster track should have. Amazing melodies on breakdown, neck-breaking first drop and mind-blowing second one. It’s really effective, and what’s especialy awesome that guys from SHM did, it sounds very simple!  Someone would say that they went too comercial, but there is really no need to look that way, this ultimate banger can destroy everything when it’s played. Hearing it live is probably one of the amazing feelings ever, for example check here.
Remix of 2012: Miike Snow – The Wave (Thomas Gold Remix) [Axtone]
Beautiful and epic melodies, amazing vocals by Andrew Wyatt, characteristic Thomas Gold percussion line…All that combined makes this one sound so epic!
Album of 2012: Eric Prydz presents Pryda [Virgin]
Without any competition, this is by far best album of 2012, maybe the album of decade title would be better. Real masterpiece collection of old and new tracks. With this one, Eric continued to prove why he is today’s last living-legend producer.
Podcast of 2012: Eric Prydz presents EPIC Radio
How many podcasts you can count where host plays 80% of his own (and amazing) tracks? Yeah, we can count only one…and that’s why “EPIC Radio” deserved this title.
Producer of 2012: Eric Prydz
Don’t think that we are favoriting Eric just because we like him so much. He really deserved this title among all amazing producers. Again in this year Eric showed his amazing versatility as producer (Cirez D, Pryda) with every new track sounds fresh & different.
Breakthrough Producer of 2012: Dyro
Really though category, because there are so many of them! We choosed Dyro, because of his amazing talent, and of course some of really monstrous originals and banging remixes of “Kontiki“, “Iron” and more!
Comeback of 2012: Showtek
As one of the Hardstyle masters, their turn to electro is really nice surprise! Every  track they worked on this year (“Hell Yeah“, “Hey“, “How We Do“,”Cannonball“) is ultimate monster! We really liked how their hardstyle influence affected electro house. Big respect!
Craziest track of 2012: Topher Jones – Brohammer (Nari & Milani Dub Remix) [Ultra]
Energy of this track can break people’s necks. Clean and simple.
Collaboration of 2012: Hardwell & Showtek – How We Do (Original Mix) [Revealed]
Everything that Showtek touched in 2012 is gold! With Hardwell, result is epic!
Best promo track we got: Spektrem – Sugar (Original Mix)
Among tons and tons of bootlegs/mashups and other stuff we got, this is the best one!
Best video 0f 2012: Tomorrowland 2012 Official Aftermovie
Probably one of the most addictive stuff ever seen. If house music was religion, Tomorrowland would be main sanctuary. There is really no need to explain this.
Best party in Belgrade in 2012: Sensation Innerspace
Unfortunately Belgrade is really bad city for house music, so our choice of Sensation comes naturaly. By far the biggest house event organized in this region, with amazing line-up!
Serbian producer of 2012: Not counting Dirty South (Dragan Roganović), unfortunately there is no producer that deserved this title.

By major EDM genres:

Best electro track: Nari & Milani – Atom (Original Mix) [Size]
That simple banging drop. Your head just can’t stay upright. Enough.
Best electro producer: Tommy Trash
As Dyro, this is also very though choice. Amazing releases, originals and remixes!
Best new electro producer: Kitsch 2.0
We are always getting amazing stuff from them. In 2013 they will be even bigger for sure!
Best progressive track: M83 – Midnight City (Eric Prydz Private Remix) [M83 Rec]
Gramy nominated, this is pure beauty. We don’t have more words for Eric and his awesomeness.
Best progressive producer: Christian Hirt
Producing music for (at least) seven aliases, this guy deserves all possible respect!
Best new progressive producer: Magnus & Timon
This Paris based duo and their amazing production really surprised us a lot!
Best trance track: Arty & BT feat. Nadia Ali – Must Be The Love (Original Mix) [Armind]
Combining stunning vocals and amazing production team, this is pure gold.
Best trance producer: Wezz Devall
One of the best sounding producers by far. Every track is polished almost to the perfecion.
Best tech track: Joris Voorn – Goodbye Fly (Original Mix) [Rejected]
Once again legendary Joris Voorn delivered amazing track!
Best tech producers: Phunk Investigation
Vibes in their tracks are so sick! And they relesed at least 50 tracks this year!
