Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso 'Calling' - Pete Tong World Exclusive Play!

The summer may be drawing to a close but the party season is far from over. Two dance music heavy weights – Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso – have joined forces on the smash single “Calling;” a seething maelstrom of synths and white noise that delivers on all levels and takes no prisoners. Rising like a frothing tidal wave of sonic force from the darkly churning sea of dance music, “Calling” stands head and shoulders above all, propelling you to places other tracks won't even know exist.

Sebastian Ingrosso is one-third of Swedish House Mafia and owner of the acclaimed Refune record label.  His first official remix was released on Mega Records in 1999 and for over a decade Ingrosso has been releasing a steady stream of original tracks and remixes. In 2009, Sebastian, Dirty South and David Guetta produced “How Soon Is Now” with Julie McKnight, which has become a modern day vocal house classic. Other notable tracks include ”Leave The World Behind” on Axtone together with SHM members Axwell and Steve Angello with Laidback Luke, “Umbrella” on Data, “Kidsos”’ on Refune, Remix on Royksopp’s 49 % and Hard Fi's “Suburban Knights,” the searing remix of “Jack You” with Steve Angello for Diddy and Felix Da Housecat which was approved by Sean Combs himself,” Miike Snow’s “Silvia” and much more.  Kylie Minogue’s “Cupid Boy;”  an anthem he co-wrote and co-produced.

As head of A & R for his label, Refune, Sebastian is constantly discovering and developing new talents such as Alesso, Style of Eye, AN21, Max Vangeli, True Identity, Arno Cost, and Swanky Tunes. Ingrosso’s achievements as a DJ are no less impressive than of those in the area of production. From his first gig in a small pizza restaurant in Sweden,  2009’s residency at  world famous Sensation White saw him regularly performing to crowds of 25,000 all over the globe and 2010/2011 has seen more smash gigs in Australia, USA and Brazil, not to mention countless countries throughout Europe. DJ Mag’s 2009 Top 100 poll placed Seb at Number 25, the highest new entry, while he reached number 16 in 2010.

At only 19 years old and with massive original productions including “Nillionaire” already under his belt, Sebastian Ingrosso’s protégée Alesso is one to look out for this year. He scored an Essential New Tune on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio One show with his debut track during Miami Music Week and secured a second play on the world famous influential show with his killer remix of Swedish House Mafia’s “Save the World.” Not to mention the 2 plays from Mr Tong himself on “Calling” as well.  The top charting remix of “Pressure” by Nadia Ali, Starkillers and Alex Kenji has been sung along with by festival and clubcrowds all over the world in the summer of 2011.   Massive support on Alesso’s original tracks and remixes come from Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell, Steve Angello, Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto, David Guetta, Dirty South, Erick Morillo, Pete Tong to name a few.
