I have Been working all week with members of dessert hearts, fighting with wire and cashier no.9, recording live parts for my new album, other great names to work on the album so far have been peter hook playing bass and Cynthia from bush tetras recording vocals.

I am currently in swansea , to spend 3 days intensive writing with "white noise sound" as part of a prs funded project. We will be performing 2 live shows around Oct or Nov to showcase the new material.

Desde los fueros de Soma se acaba de anunciar que un track inédito de Daft Punk será incluido en el compilado especial que el sello escosés proyecta lanzar con el objeto de celebrar sus veinte años de andadura.

Una cinta en formato DAT (Digital Audio Tape), titulada sencillamente Daft Drive, fue encontrada a finales de 2010 entre los archivos de Soma. Acto seguido, la gente del sello activó una máquina DAT y escuchó la cinta a sabiendas de que podía tratarse de material perdido de Daft Punk. Finalmente, tras estudiar los registros de la escudería, los directivos acordaron que el track Daft Drive había llegado a Soma en 1994 para publicarse junto Rollin’ & Scratchin’, pero posteriormente fue descartado y en su lugar se incluyó la pista Da Funk.

Luego del hallazgo los cabezas de Soma pidieron a la dupla francesa los permisos correspondientes a manera de incluir Daft Drive en el compilado de los veinte años del sello. La colección, que resumirá la historia de Soma a través de tres discos compactos, llevará por título Soma Records 20 Years y verá la luz el próximo 19 de septiembre.
